| One of the best known pubs in North Shields, and is one of the few remaining jennings pubs that I know of.Inside it is a bit ....well ya know Pubby, nothing special, however the beer garden over looks the mouth of the Tyne and is very pleasant on a sunny day, quaffing a pint of Snecklifter or Cockerhoop. It has been spoilt a bit by the sudden appaerance of apartments around it but it doens't detract from the view. | |
