| Facing the train station this two level pub has an excellent reputation for real ales and quality European lagers (first place in Newcastle to have budvar) upstairs is open all day has a wide selection of draft and bottled beers all generally of a high quality. The music is actually not irritating and is a good starting point for a saunter around the better bars in Newcastle Downstairs is a gig venue with huge couches the beer selection is limited, but they have erdinger on draft, which is always good. |
