The only truly decent pub in the Quayside. Don’t really know the history of it but it has won awards for its interior and the quality of the ales on offer. A long bar always makes it look heaving which adds to the atmosphere. Seems to be a favourite with the arty/academic types. Maybe due to it’s proximity to the Side Café and the Baltic. Well worth a visit
